The entrance retains its original spatial configuration, clarified through the selective recovery of existing materials, timber floors, doors and built-in joinery, restored as the continuity that holds the intervention together.

The kitchen is the most transformed space in the house. Fully reconfigured, it assumes a more open and functional role within the ground floor, promoting a greater visual and spatial continuity with the surrounding areas while preserving its own distinct atmosphere. Furniture selection was treated as part of the architectural project, new pieces introduced in dialogue with existing elements.

A entrada mantém a sua configuração espacial original, clarificada através da recuperação selectiva dos materiais existentes, pavimentos em madeira, portas e carpintaria embutida, restaurados como a continuidade que sustenta a intervenção.

A cozinha é o espaço mais transformado da casa. Totalmente reformulada, assume um papel mais aberto e funcional no piso térreo, promovendo uma maior continuidade visual e espacial com as áreas envolventes, mantendo ao mesmo tempo a sua atmosfera própria. A selecção do mobiliário foi tratada como parte integrante do projecto, novas peças introduzidas em diálogo com os elementos existentes.

The social spaces are enhanced without being transformed. Finishes, light and furniture are carefully selected to reinforce spatial coherence and create more welcoming, balanced environments. The staircase and circulation areas are treated with the same material consistency as the rest of the intervention. The guest bathroom is completely renewed, consistent with the material language of the project.

Os espaços sociais são valorizados sem serem transformados. Acabamentos, luz e mobiliário são cuidadosamente seleccionados para reforçar a coerência espacial e criar ambientes mais acolhedores e equilibrados. As escadas e zonas de circulação são tratadas com a mesma consistência material do resto da intervenção. O lavabo social é completamente renovado, consistente com a linguagem material do projecto.

The private areas are approached with the same restraint. Original materials are recovered wherever possible, timber floors, doors, wardrobes, in a logic of respect for the memory of the place. The bathrooms are fully renewed to contemporary standards of comfort and detail. The suite is organised to create a calm and coherent private space, where sleeping, dressing and bathing areas flow naturally into one another.

As áreas privadas são abordadas com o mesmo critério. Os materiais originais são recuperados sempre que possível, pavimentos em madeira, portas, armários, numa lógica de respeito pela memória do lugar. As casas de banho são totalmente renovadas segundo padrões contemporâneos de conforto e detalhe. A suite organiza-se para criar um espaço privado calmo e coerente, onde as áreas de dormir, vestir e banho fluem naturalmente entre si.
